Plz move this thread if its in the wrong place...it does say "Everything".

I've been nursing this HA veno for a while now and must admit, its tuff!
I have a question, how much does your weapon affect damage when in Foxform?
ATM, I (lvl 45) am using a Mirage sword. I was told a long time ago, that would be all I'd need ever.
Keep in mind if you will, that I created her in Feb 2009. I believe there may have been 10-15 lvl 85's playing.
She's fun, but slow developing.

i gotto say i dont have a clue about HA venos, sry =/

i saw a few lvl70s with HA gear and calamity axes,
but HA venos seam 2 be gone since TB expansion. I think its couse rank gear is the only thing that matters anymore.. and venos only get a Arcane Gear. There is not that much space left 4 the player 2 try other ways of plaiyng a charakter. 2 many ppl dont allow everything besides mainsteam in the team =/

probly cus u answered and i Think u get a phys Def from foxform but if u got meele mastery u get more dmg based on ur weps so getting stronger wep is Good

If I may give some advice making an HA veno wont be cheap and it can be difficult to get the attribute points just right. Ive made you something to go off of if you like this is the cheapest I could make a full HA veno while still keeping a decent magic sword.

with this kind of build a lot depends on the gear you have and what kind of attribute points they give
and if you didnt need this kind of advice just ignore my ramblings xD
edit: and the gear is for a lvl 100 veno its honestly easier to go AA till a higher lvl where the attribute points on the gear are a lot better

Actually I'm playing a HA veno, too! Using some stats on rings and equip wisely I can use a weapon of my level with around 3 level delay and clothes with around 5 level delay. With enough coins and an expensive blessing that might be avoidable, but it's actually not really needed, since fox form adds like 120% to your equip phys defense pretty early.
Also yes, due to melee mastery you gain weapon extra damage in fox form. At level 10 that equals 110% extra damage as fox. I wouldn't advise using axes though, if you plan on actually using skills or enjoy the extra def of the fox form - that doesn't work with axes, sadly. So even so it's making my hair go gray to keep all in line, it's better to stick to a magic weapon as close to your level as possible. And the faster the better. So the ones with attack rate 1.25 are preferrable over 1.0 wands. It might be also good to invest in some -int stuff later on, to get some damage equaled out... even so holding aggro will sadly be always nearly impossible as long as other classes don't hold back... still it's a tough build but fun and I look forward to freely switching between HA and arcane once I'm 90 (before that I prefer saving my coins and stick to only one set;)).
